Wabash High School

The Wabash Lady Apaches Track team competed in Saturday's IWU #2 indoor track meet with some good results for the first meet with several younger athletes competing at this level for the first time. Ava Bishir ran a great race in the 60 meter hurdles with a 11.63 time which was one of the better times in the small school section. Running the 60 meter dash, Logan Wright clocked a 9.12, Ayanna Sellers 9.52 & Eliza Denney 9.57. The 4X800 relay of Haylee Friend, Chloe Cooper, Josie Bailey & Mia Fairchild tuned in a good time of 12:19 for their first time together. The 4X200 relay team ran a 2:09.39 with Ayanna Sellers, Eliza Denney, Ava Bishir & Logan Wright. Aubrey Hanes threw the shot put 27'1.25" , Brylee Fagan 15'8" - both good first meet performances in the shot put. The Distance Medley relay team ran 15:49.72 : Mia Fairchild,Emma Cantrell, Mallory Tart & Mya Golliher. Great effort and performances by all the Lady Apaches . Friday we compete at Taylor University.
