By Ryan Evans | Mar 15, 2026 9:25 AM

The Wabash High School boys track team competed at Taylor University in their second indoor HSR qualifier of the season. The windy conditions outside translated into new PR's inside as many younger athletes had the chance to compete for the first time. Kamden Oswalt, Carsen Morgan, Luis Trejo, and Maverick Sommers competed in the 4x800 relay coming in 5th. The Distance Medley Relay of Kalib Mabery, Luis Trejo, Carter Pegg, and Landen Fisher came in 5th as well. Kalib, Carter, and Landen we're running in the first race of their career. The 4x4 relay of Ezra Church, Michael LePage, Ian Edmond, and Isaiah Jones came in 9th. In the shot put two athletes competed in the first meet of their career - Mason Braun and Zeke Byers. Keaton Fairchild improved on his effort from a week ago by over a foot.
