The Lady Apaches left early to race at the Chuck Schlemmer Memorial invite at West Noble. The girls were split between the varsity and the reserve races, but each of the girls ran phenomenally. Out of the 11 athletes, almost all of them ran a season PR! The girls were lucky to have continued cool weather from the morning stick around for both of their races. Overall, their efforts earned them a 17th place finish as a team amongst 25 complete teams. Coming in first for the Varsity running Apache crew was 6th grader, Teresina Cordes, running a PR time of 12:02, getting closer and closer to the school record, and taking 14th place overall. Second for the team was a 6th grader, Sutton Stoffel, running in with a PR time of 13:40 and placing 94th overall. Next was 7th grader, Eliza Denney, running in with a PR time of 14:18 and taking 119th place. Coming in 132nd place was 6th grader, Briar Stoffel, running a PR time of 14:34. Next was Kinslee McBride, another 6th grader, running in 136th place with a PR time of 14:37. Kylie Mickleson, another 6th grader, followed in behind McBride with a PR time of 15:32 in 160th place. Next for the Apache crew was Emma Cantrell, a 7th grader, running a season PR time of 16:03 and finishing in 170th place. There were 192 athletes within the varsity race.
