The Lady Apaches won 3-0 over Taylor tonight, with all three goals coming in the first half. Senior Natalie Adams started the scoring off with a breakaway unassisted goal in the first minute of the game. Adams then connected with the back of the net a second time off a great corner kick from senior Kiana Jones and nice touch from junior Kait Honeycutt. Sophomore Logan Wright finished the scoring run with a breakaway goal, unassisted. Junior goalkeeper Olivia Braun was able to keep a clean sheet tonight with 4 saves in the game. Strong defense tonight by K. Jones, juniors Graci Napier and Macy VonUhl and sophomore Jaycee Jones. Napier, Honeycutt and junior Abbi Hipskind did a great job winning the ball and creating offensive opportunities for the Lady Apaches. Wabash shots tonight came from Wright, Hipskind, Adams, Napier, Honeycutt and senior Maddie VonUhl. Wabash improves to 7-4-2 on the season and finish up regular season on the road on Wednesday at Oak Hill.
