The Wabash Apaches varsity girls golf team earned its second victory of the season in impressive fashion, firing a new season-low team score of 205 on the back nine at Marion Elks. The performance marks the second consecutive match in which the Apaches have set a new team-best score. The program extends its sincere gratitude to game sponsor Subway of Wabash for their generous support of the girls golf team and Apache athletics. Kaitlyn Brewer led the field to earn individual medalist honors as the overall number-one finisher of the match with a standout 42. Lilith Brookshire followed closely behind as the overall runner-up (number two overall), recording a personal-record score of 51. Martha Stellar also delivered a career highlight, shattering her own personal best with a 64. Kaitlyn and Lilith set the standard at the top of the leaderboard, and seeing Lilith and Martha both post personal records made it a total team effort. We want to thank Subway of Wabash for supporting our girls as they continue to reach new milestones. The Apaches look to keep their winning momentum going in their next match against Fort Wayne Canterbury on September 8th.
