The Apache boys cross country team concluded their historic season at the state finals finishing 24th - the same as their ranking in the current state poll. The Apaches battled hard in the single class meet. Kaden Vogel finished 130th, Isaiah Cordes 153rd, and Jonas Church in 162nd. Brett Shull was the 4th Apache runner in 202nd place. Ezra Church finished in 217th place, Jace Bullins in 222nd place and Chase Howard in 242nd place. The Apaches and the community of Wabash have a lot to be proud of this season. Along with qualifying for the state meet for the first time in 24 years, the Apaches were also the Three Rivers Conference Champions for the 6th time in seven years, the Wapahani Invite champions, Mississinewa Invite champions, and the Apache Invite champions. The team would like to thank the community of Wabash for their support throughout the season. The outpouring of positivity is greatly appreciated. Thanks is also extended to our senior - Kaden Vogel who has been a cornerstone of our program and a major architect of our success during the last four years. Kaden's love for this sport was felt by his teammates and his dedication to being the best runner possible, both mentally and physically, has left a lasting impression on this program.
