Kaitlyn Brewer- Wabash Facing a demanding course setup and a stacked field, junior Kaitlyn Brewer delivered another stellar performance at the IHSAA Regional Tournament at Noble Hawk Golf Club, firing a impressive 89 to cap off a historic campaign. As her team's lone regional qualifier, Brewer took on a brutal course setup designed to test every facet of a golfer's game. Noble Hawk lived up to its reputation for difficulty, with tournament officials placing roughly half of the tees at men's distances. Despite the extra yardage and tough conditions, Brewer stayed composed, managing the course with veteran precision to break 90. Her strong showing at Noble Hawk marks another milestone in what is turning out to be a remarkable high school career. Brewer has now qualified for the regional tournament in each of her first three seasons—first making the trip as a freshman with her team, followed by back-to-back individual regional berths as a sophomore and junior. Punching an individual ticket to regionals in back-to-back years is a rare and difficult feat, solidifying her place among the area's top golfers. With three regional appearances already under her belt, Brewer isn't done yet. She enters her upcoming senior season with clear eyes and a major target: making it four-for-four and wrapping up her high school career with one final postseason run next fall.
