Myers sets record as Apaches win 8 events against Tippecanoe Valley

Quinn Myers set the Wabash High School Girls Swimming 50 Freestyle record Monday night against Tippecanoe Valley. Myers broke Kelsey Thomas' 2012 record of 27.59 by swimming 26.96, winning the event. Myers also won the 100 Backstroke. Additional wins for the Apaches included Cael McCann in the 200 Freestyle, Abbi Hipskind in the 100 Freestyle, the Girls 200 Freestyle Relay team of Hipskind, Rinka Higuera, Nonoka Higuera, and Myers, the Boys 200 Freestyle Relay team of Nicholas Perkins, Isaiah Jones, Chase Howard, and McCann, R. Higuera in the 100 breaststroke, the Girls 400 Freestyle Relay team of Hipskind, R. Higuera, N. Higuera, and Myers, and the Boys 400 Free Relay team of Perkins, Howard, Jones, and McCann.
