Wabash High School

The Lady Apaches got down double digits in the second quarter in the Wabash County Tourney but turned things around mid way through the second quarter and cut the deficit to 22-17 at the half. Wabash would then use a great third quarter to grab a 31-26 lead. Manchester would hit a late shot in the fourth to tie the game at 40-40 and the game headed to OT. In overtime the Lady Apaches would dominate and pull off the 51-43 win. The Lady Apaches have now won back to back county championships. Wabash, now 8-8 on the season, was led by Kait Honeycutt with 21 points while Kierra Wilson added 11. Honeycutt, Wilson and Bryleigh Boggs were named to the All-Tournament team and Honeycutt was named MVP.
