The girls varsity soccer team picked up their 1st TRC win of the season over Rochester tonight with a score of 3-1. With about 10 minutes left in the 1st half, Logan Wright scored off a Samantha Walter assist. Then with less than 2 minutes remaining in the half, Walter assists her 2nd goal of the night with a great ball to Brooklyn Buzzard who put it away. The Lady Apaches found the back of the net for the 3rd time about 10 minutes into the 2nd half with a goal by Raegan Jones, winning the ball up top and directing it right back into the goal. Goalkeeper Kait Honeycutt had 10 saves on the game and allowed 1 goal in the 2nd half. Graci Napier played a fantastic game centrally tonight with great support from Emma Weaver. The defensive line of Jaycee Jones, Colleena Meadows, Abbi Hipskind and Walter played a very strong game for the Lady Apaches. Wabash is now 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in the TRC. Wabash is right back in action tomorrow night hosting Peru.
