It was a game in which both teams had periods of dominance with Eastern earning the edge on the scoresheet. The Wabash defense allowed only 2 shots on goal. Unfortunately, both shots went in. Wabash surrendered the first goal late in the first half when Eastern took advantage of a moment of chaos in front of goal to find the back of the net. Ty Carpenter scored for Wabash in the second half on a nice shot from distance to the top bins. Wabash had looked to score again and were pressing high when they gave up a cornerkick against the run of play. Eastern converted on an uncontested header for the game-winner. Jose Robles and Braxten Schidler both had strong defensive days. Ty Carpenter showed some mastery in the midfield in the loss. Wabash travels to Eastbrook on Monday.
