Wabash High School

The Wabash Lady Apaches won over Logansport with a score of 2-0. Goalkeeper Kait Honeycutt had 8 saves on the day to secure the shutout along with tremendous defensive effort by Jaycee Jones, Logan Wright, Samantha Walter and Abbi Hipskind. Wabash had multiple scoring opportunities in the 1st half and yet found themselves 0-0 at halftime. With distribution from Graci Napier, Anna Daughtry and Colleena Meadows, Wabash continued to work the ball up and pressure the Logansport defense. The Lady Apaches were finally able to break through the defense and put 2 goals in the back of the net - both goals were great finishes from Brookelynn Buzzard and both were assisted by Logan Wright. Wabash improves with a record of 5-5 and continue their play at home on Tuesday vs North Miami at 5:30 at LHC.
