Wabash Boys Soccer lost to Peru 7-1 in the Sectional semifinal Wednesday night. The Apaches' tough performance for most of the night was punctuated by bursts of scoring by the Tigers. Wabash's lone goal came on a Ty Carpenter penalty kick in the first half, which brought the halftime score to 3-1. Derek Reed and Edin Choc played well in the midfield and Max Carpenter slotted into the backline to settle things down defensively. Jake Vandergrift ended the night with 10 saves. Wabash ends the season 2-13-1.
