The Varsity Girls basketball team beat Taylor 59 - 46 to win the season opener. Wabash jumped out to a 34-13 halftime lead and still led 50-28 heading to the final quarter before Taylor closed the gap. Brookelynn Buzzard led Wabash with 23 points while Kait Honeycutt and Anna Daughtry added 11 and 10. The Lady Apaches will play Culver Academy on Friday at home.
