Wabash High School

The Lady Apaches moved to 17-4, 8-1 on the season with a 63-50 win at Northwestern. The win guaranteed Wabash a share of the TRC championship with Whitko, who lost earlier in the day to Northfield. Wabash would take a 34-27 lead into the half as they ended the second quarter on a 9-0 run. The Lady Apaches would fight off several Northwestern runs in the second half and never trail as they pulled out the 63-50 win. Wabash, who won the TRC for the first time since 2013-14, placed 4 girls in double figures (Brookelynn Buzzard 19, Anna Daughtry 15, Kait Honeycutt 11, and Janika Stumbo 10). Honeycutt also pulled down 10 rebounds. Wabash also won the JV game 33-20. Rya Morgan had 13 points to lead the Lady Apache attack.
