The Lady Apaches Track team competed last Saturday at the IWU qualifier #3 with most improved their performances from the previous week’s efforts. Leading the way was the 4X800 relay with Hayley Friend,Chloe Cooper,Ivy Beamer & Anna Daughtry . This team is ranked 31st in the state’s small school division. The 4X200 relay team of Logan Wright,Paula Alvarez,Reagan Jones & Anna Daughtry made major improvements with all members lowering their times. The Distance Medley Relay Josie Bailey,Mallory Tart, Mia Fairchild & Ivy Beamer and the 4X4 Relay Logan Wright,Lucia Rodriguez-Pezuela & Anna Daughtry both had great performances last Saturday. Ava Bisher in the 60 meter hurdles ran her fastest time ever in that event. Both Brylee Fagan and Alexis Indrutz increased their distance they threw in the shot put event. Janika Stumbo,Ayanna Sellers &Quinn Myers all had strong performances in the 60 meter dash. Apaches head to Trine University this Friday for the last of the indoor qualifiers.
