The Lady Apaches Track team competed last night in the Marion sectional Two of our seniors finished their season with outstanding performances Ivy Beamer finished 10 th in the 1600 meter run and was part of the 6th place 4X800 relay also part of the 8th place 4X400 relay Janika Stumbo finished 7th in the long jump and 8th in the 100 meter dash These two ladies have been outstanding contributors to the team over the last four years and will be missed Paula Alvarez and Lucia Rodriguez-Pezuela our foreign exchange students from Spain also completed in their last track meet for Wabash Paula finished 8th in the 400 meter run and part of the 4X400 relay Lucia ran her fastest time of the season in the 300 hurdles and was part of the 4X400 relay also Anna Daughtry finished 7th 1st in the 800 meter run breaking her own school and advanced to next weeks regional in Fort Wayne Anna was also part of the 4X800 relay and 4x400 relay 6th place- 4X800 relay - Josie Bailey, Mia Fairchild, Ivy Beamer & Anna Daughtry finished 7th place - Janika Stumbo -long jump 8th place - Janika Stumbo - 100 meter dash Paula Alvarez - 400 meter run 4X400 relay - Ivy Beamer,Paula Alvarez,Lucia Rodriguez & Anna Daughtry I want to thank all of the members of the track team for their hard work and dedication to the track team this season and also all the family members for their support.
