Girls Varisty Golf Battles Hard in season opener

Your sponsorship helps provide opportunities for our athletes to grow, compete, and represent our school with pride. The Wabash Apaches girls' golf team battled through a challenging season opener, posting a team score of 499. Despite the tough competition, the team showed resilience and highlighted several personal achievements. Leading the way was sophomore Kaitlyn Brewer with a score of 108, followed by senior Kaylee Indrutz, who finished with a 118. Sophomores Scarlet Brookshire and Alexis Indrutz both recorded personal bests for nine holes, each shooting 65. Alexis also set a new personal record for 18 holes with a 132. Rounding out the team was sophomore Martha Stellar, who shot an 18-hole personal best of 141. The Apaches remained positive throughout the round, showing promise for the season ahead. They’ll return to action next Thursday at Sycamore Golf Club, Manchester’s home course.
