Boys Soccer lose at Rochester 0-4

By Bill Benysh | Sep 3, 2025 6:07 AM

The Rochester Zebras proved to be a little too much for a young Wabash Boys Soccer team Tuesday night. The first half saw Rochester take the lead at the 10-minute mark and continue to press their advantage, but fail to score again. Max Carpenter nearly equalized before halftime on a breakaway run down the right side, only to be denied by an excellent save. In the second half, Rochester held their momentum and wore down the Apache defense. Eventually, the Zebras scored 3 more to seal the victory. Despite the loss, Derek Reed and Prestyn Jones played well, thwarting many opportunities. Jake Vandegrift had another big night between the posts by collecting 15 saves. Wabash plays at Caston on Thursday.
