The Wabash Lady Apaches continue to improve and show such grit in tonight's loss to Northwestern. After finding themselves down 6-0 at halftime and playing with no subs for majority of the game, Wabash rose to the challenge of playing a new half in the 2nd half. After making some adjustments at halftime, the Lady Apaches tied the 2nd half 1-1. Freshman Alyssa Rose played a ball that bobbled in the mouth of the goal to the back of the net off a beautiful sent ball from freshman Baelee Noland. Northwestern put one away late in the 2nd half. Freshman Brynn Lindsay played a strong game in goal with 13 saves. Offensive shots tonight came from Noland. Very strong minutes from Rose, Noland, freshman Ember Christle and seniors Jaycee Jones and Raegan Jones. The Lady Apaches are back in action next week in conference play against Manchester.
