Wabash Girls Golf Wraps Up Season at Sectionals; Brewer Advances to Regionals The Wabash High School girls golf team closed out their 2025 season at the IHSAA Sectional tournament, finishing 8th overall with a team score of 415. That mark set a new season-best team score and was an 84-stroke improvement from their opening 18-hole tournament earlier this year (499). The day was highlighted by Kaitlyn Brewer’s outstanding round of 80, which earned her second place overall and a berth in the Noble Hawk Regional Tournament this Friday. Brewer’s performance leads her into regionals with great momentum. The rest of the Apaches also stepped up with personal record scores for 18 holes: Kaylee Indrutz — 93 Scarlett Brookshire — 123 Alexis Indrutz — 119 Marta Steller — 134 Though the season comes to a close for the team, their sectional performance was a powerful reflection of their growth and determination throughout the year. The Wabash girls golf program extends heartfelt thanks to their 2025 game sponsors, as well as to the parents, community members, and Wabash Athletics Department for their unwavering support this season. The team now looks forward to cheering on Kaitlyn Brewer as she competes at the Noble Hawk Regional Tournament on Friday.
