Boys Middle School Cross Country Finishes 2nd At Wabash Invite

Wabash Middle School hosted their own invite Saturday morning at the city park. Led by a 2nd place finish by Jeffery Small the Apaches finished 2nd to meet winner West Noble. The Chargers totaled 32 points to the Apaches 60. Manchester came in 3rd with 70 followed by Western (78), Frankton (120), McCulloch (170), and Huntington Catholic (192). Southwood, Northfield, Whitko, and Lakeview Christian did not have complete teams. The rest of the Apaches remained consistent with Kedryn Evenson coming in 5th. Demetri Shull continued his stellar season coming in 11th. Easton Cantrell ran to a 16th place finish with Macklin Denney 27th, Alex Perkins 32nd, and Phoenix Brown 38th. There were 58 runners in the race. In the reserve race Will Sullivan came in 2nd in his first race of his career. Lukas Rojas finished 11th, Aiden Young 13th, Finn Fairchild 38th, Barrett Benzinger 44th, and Isaac Mattern 48th. There were a total of 53 runners in the race.
