Wabash Girls Take 5th in TRC at Manchester

The Wabash Lady Apaches wrapped up their conference season with a strong performance at the Three Rivers Conference Championship, placing fifth as a team on a beautiful, sunshine-filled Saturday. Running under clear skies and warm fall weather, the Apaches embraced the challenge of a competitive field and a fast course. From start to finish, the girls showed determination, teamwork, and a steady focus that reflected their growth throughout the season. Each runner contributed to the team’s solid showing, pushing through the final miles and the last hill into the finish shoot. First for the team was Mya Golliher who came in with a time of 21:37. Golliher snagged 10th place. The next Apache in was Mia Fairchild with a time of 22:33 and taking 17th place. Next up for the team was Mallory Tart coming in with a 22:50 time and snagging 19th place. Next up was Haylee Friend, with a time of 24:23 in 30th place. Flying into the finish was Emma Cantrell with a career PR time of 25:36, and placing 41st overall. Completing the team score, was Maya Howard with a time of 27:08 and taking 49th place overall. The meet served as a celebration of hard work and improvement, as the Lady Apaches continued to demonstrate their commitment to one another and to the sport. Their 5th place finish in a tough conference field capped off a season full of progress, perseverance, and bright potential for their Sectional performances.
